  Creating your own chef’s paradise in an existing home may require the an office visit with an Architect/Designer to create your new kitchen plans for your house plan modifications.  Design harmony is important.  Perhaps you already have a sink or a faucet in mind and can use either piece as a starting point.  Identify what it is that you really like that particular sink or faucet and it will become clearer the direction of your redesign will go.  For instance, when you begin your house plan modifications, do your preferences run toward sleek, modern lines, then you will probably want a contemporary design.  If you love the farm house look, maybe you will choose a wall mount faucet.  Remember that color and finish are also key considerations as well as functionality.  Design harmony is also important in your house plan modifications when you are matching countertops and your cabinets.  You may have always loved the look of stainless steel, but if the cabinets you choose are clearly country, the warm colors and solid looks of a cast-iron sink may be a better fit.  If you have the luxury of choosing both new cabinets and new countertops your design job will be easier.  But if you are committed to using the cabinets you already have in your home, consider countertop materials that are timeless and universal, like granite or marble.  Even if the design of your cabinets ties you into a specific material, remember you’ll have plenty of color options available.  Once your house plan modifications and design pairings are complete, you can turn your focus to creating enjoyable gourmet meals perfectly paired with the right beverages.  Fortunately you’ll find no shortage of inspiration.

Some of the newest Architects house plans are being built with a wood=based stucco system that provides both durability and performance.  with a history reaching back centuries, stucco has been considered a premium exterior wall coating for decades in the United States.  The traditional three-coat process of cement-based stucco can take weeks to complete as the builder has to let each layer of the product dry and cure before applying the next coat.  The other market alternative Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) synthetic stucco , has sensitive installation issues and requires a certified installer.  Each variant of stucco comes with a unique set of challenges either in quality or cost.  Many builders of Architects house plans are seeking alternative ways to achieve the look and quality of stucco.  One notable example is DR Horton. The new product is Carrara Stucco built on LP Smartside Precision Series smooth panel siding. This new process takes only five days to complete and is designed to reduce unnecessary layers of material while providing a crack-resistant finish coat that is faithful to the traditional textures and colors of old-world stucco.  When used in Architects house plans Carrara Stucco may give the look of cement stucco .  The durability of this product and the warranty it comes with may make it superior to conventional stucco.  The Carrara Stucco is applied  to the panels over wood or metalstuds and is  APA approved for single-wall construction.  The system helps minimize the effect of shifting and settling on the stucco.  Architects house plans in the future may call for Stuck On Wood.
